FRONT-OF-HOUSE SHIFT MANAGER, KEMPTOWN KITCHEN

We are seeking an experienced front-of-house supervisor/shift manager (full-time) to help oversee the expanding team of wait staff at our new Kemptown Kitchen.

• £20,000 salary + OTE £6,000-£8,000 in tips
• 28 days’ paid holiday per year
• Delicious staff meals

Expectations: 
You need to have great communication and people management skills, a friendly demeanour and a cool head that will allow you to think on your feet and keep a smile on your face when problems arise and the café becomes busy. 

We also expect you to: 
• Have minimum of one year's experience working at supervisor/shift management level in the hospitality business
• Be a reliable, responsible and punctual person
• Have a passion for hospitality and customer service
• Be able to work weekends and split shifts

COMMIS CHEF (FULL-TIME)

We are seeking a full-time commis chef to join our expanding kitchen team across both our Brighton Lanes Cafe and Kemptown Kitchen sites. 

• Competitive wage based on experience
• Plus a share of tips – OTE an extra £3,000–£4,500 p.a
• 28 days’ paid holiday per year
• Delicious staff meals
• Expert training in Indian cuisine from the cafe's award-winning head chefs

We expect you to:
• Have at least 1 years' experience working as a chef in a busy kitchen
• Be a reliable, responsible and punctual person
• Be willing and able to work split shifts

NB: Experience of working in an Indian kitchen is a bonus, but not essential

KITCHEN PORTER (FULL-TIME)

We are seeking a full-time Kitchen Porter to join our expanding kitchen team.

SOUS CHEF, KEMPTOWN KITCHEN

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to help head up our new Kemptown Kitchen. Experience of working in an Indian kitchen preparing curries & tandoor dishes is essential for this important full-time role. 

• Competitive salary based on experience
• Plus a share of tips – OTE an extra £3,000–£4,500 p.a

• Possibility of staff accommodation

We expect you to:
• Have at least 1 years' experience of working at a senior level in an Indian kitchen
• Be a reliable, responsible and punctual person
• Be willing and able to work split shifts

• Have an enthusiasm for learning new skills and helping train junior chefs in the art of Indian cooking
 

CHEF DE PARTIE (FULL-TIME)

We are seeking a full-time CDP to join the expanding kitchen team at our new Kemptown Kitchen site, working under head chef Sabu Joseph.

We expect you to:
