Last night was a big one for Curry Leaf Cafe! With work nearing completion on our new Kemptown Kitchen and an official opening date of 18th January finally set, we invited a few friends and family around for some celebratory drinks and a sneak preview of our upcoming menu of Indian 'small plates', cocktails & craft beers.
We'd like to thank to our friends Blackdown Distillery & Ridgeview Wine for the delicious welcome drinks, and Butlers Wine Cellar, Terre A Terre, Drakes of Brighton, La Choza & Mayo Wynne Baxter for the charity raffle prizes they generously donated. With their help we raised more than £600 for FareShare Sussex to help their ongoing fight against food waste.
The 6th of January also happened to be the birthday of two very important members of the Curry Leaf Cafe family – chef Kanthi Thamma and part-owner Matt Turner (whose team from Turner Bespoke have spent the last six weeks building and fitting out the new premises). Suffice to say, it was a very happy birthday for all concerned.
We look forward to welcoming you at our new Kemptown Kitchen when we open for business on 18th January. Please note that tables will be allocated on a walk-in basis, except for larger groups who can book by emailing us at info@curryleafcafe.com
In the meantime, we're proud to announce that from Monday 9th January onwards the kitchen will be offering home delivered curries, street food, tandoor dishes & craft beers via the Deliveroo app/website. Click here for further info on our new home delivery service.
