COMING JAN 2017: KEMPTOWN KITCHEN

Eagle-eyed residents of Kemptown may have noticed a flurry of activity and green-and-orange paint at the corner of Upper St James's Street & Wyndham Street lately… That's right, we're busy putting the final touches to a new restaurant and takeaway in Brighton's most easterly – and colourful – district.

Open seven days a week, our new Kemptown Kitchen features an open-style kitchen layout and space for around 30 or so diners inside, plus chairs and tables on the street when the British weather allows. Where the original Ship Street cafe focuses on authentic South Indian food and a traditional 'starter and main' style of service, this one will mix things up with a modern, playful menu that borrows from all quarters of India's culinary heritage. Expect tapas-style 'small plates', an exciting range of spiced cocktails and, of course, a menu of craft beers that puts most bars to shame when it opens its doors in January 2017. Keep an eye on our website and Facebook page for updates over the coming weeks.
