COMMIS CHEF (FULL-TIME)

We are seeking a full-time commis chef to join our expanding kitchen team across both our Brighton Lanes Cafe and Kemptown Kitchen sites. 

• Competitive wage based on experience
• Share of tips (100% goes to staff)
• 28 days’ paid holiday per year
• Delicious staff meals
• Expert training in Indian cuisine from the cafe's award-winning head chefs

We expect you to:
• Have at least 1 years' experience working as a chef in a busy kitchen
• Be a reliable, responsible and punctual person
• Be willing and able to work split shifts

NB: Experience of working in an Indian kitchen is a bonus, but not essential

KITCHEN PORTER (FULL-TIME)

We are seeking a full-time Kitchen Porter to join our expanding kitchen team.

SENIOR CDP/SOUS CHEF, KEMPTOWN KITCHEN

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to help head up our new Kemptown Kitchen. Experience of working in an Indian kitchen preparing curries & tandoor dishes is essential for this important full-time role.

• Have at least 1 years' experience of working at a senior level in a busy kitchen
• Be a reliable, responsible and punctual person
• Be willing and able to work split shifts

• Have an enthusiasm for learning new skills and the art of Indian cooking
 

KIOSK TEAM MEMBER (FULL-TIME), BRIGHTON STATION

We are looking for an experienced full-time team member to join the serving team at its Indian street food retail kiosk inside Brighton train station. If you wish to be interviewed for this position, please come (with your CV) to one of our recruitment open days:

We expect you to:
• Have experience working in a high-volume takeaway/cafe environment
• Be willing to work flexible hours, including 6am shifts
• Have a passion for great food and customer service
• Be a punctual, reliable person

NB: Barista experience (making and serving espresso coffee) is a bonus, but not a requirement – training will be provided

NNB: You must over 18 years old, eligible to work in the UK and be able to provide a reference from a previous employer

NNNB: A full clean driver’s licence is preferable, but not a requirement
